We have hair to keep our heads warm and because when properly maintained it can look nice.
You buy a tie because it goes well with a dress shirt. I personally enjoy wearing humorous ties at inappropriate times.
I iron my tires all the time when they get wrinkly. It keeps them looking new. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t iron your tires when they get wrinkled.
