This actually happened in Literature today. Normally, my teacher laughs along with me, but she didn’t for some reason…

The gimmick here is that your birth year plus your age will always equal 110 or 111, depending on whether you’ve had your birthday this year or not. Therefore, if you follow the instructions correctly, you will always end up with 143, unless you were born before the 20th century.
So apparently I’m in love, and so is the rest of the world, except for anyone who is 111 years old or older.
